Returns & Exchanges Policy

Thoughtful Purchases, Fair Returns

Clara Barcelo is a small-batch, slow-fashion brand. Our return policy is designed to support intentional purchasing while protecting against excessive wear, abuse, and fraudulent returns.

Return Eligibility

All purchases are considered final sale, except in the following cases:

Manufacturing Defects

Manufacturing defects are covered under our Quality Guarantee and are eligible for refund, exchange, or repair.

Sizing Issues

Shoes that do not fit as expected may be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of delivery. Refunds incur a $25 return fee for domestic orders. Exchanges are free.

Returned items must be unworn, in original condition, in original packaging, and accompanied by photo verification upon request.

All other reasons for return, including change of mind or style preference, are not eligible for refunds.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only for manufacturing defects or verified sizing issues within 14 days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Domestic refunds incur a $25 return shipping fee. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Exchanges & Store Credit (Preferred Option)

Free return shipping is provided for exchanges or store credit. Exchanges may be initiated immediately; processing is contingent upon successful condition verification. Store credit is issued immediately upon return initiation.

Final Sale & Made-to-Order Items

Discounted and final sale items are not eligible for return or refund. Made-to-order or limited-edition products are non-returnable unless defective.

International Orders & Returns

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable. Refused shipments are treated as returns, and any applicable shipping or processing fees will be deducted from eligible refunds.

Quality Guarantee & Repairs

Clara Barcelo products are covered against manufacturing defects under normal use. Defects must be reported promptly after delivery.

Normal wear and tear is not covered under returns, but may qualify for repair under our “Use & Reuse” Program launching Q3 2025, which offers professional repairs at a flat fee to extend the life of your shoes sustainably.

Customer Acknowledgment

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that refunds are available only for manufacturing defects or verified sizing issues within 14 days, refunds incur a $25 return fee, and all other returns are processed as exchange or store credit only.
