Thoughtful Purchases, Hassle-Free (and Fair) Returns

Our shoes are crafted with care and we encourage intentional shopping. To maintain the integrity of our slow-fashion model and protect against fraudulent returns, we have a clear return and exchange policy.

Return Eligibility: All purchases are considered Final Sale, except in the following cases:
1. Manufacturing defects
* Covered under our Quality Guarantee (see below).

2.Sizing issues-
* Shoes that do not fit as expected may be exchanged(but no refund)
* Items must be:
-Unworn and in original condition
-In original packaging
-Accompanied by photo verification upon request
All other reasons for return (change of mind, style preference, etc.) are ineligible for refunds.

Customers may still opt for:

*Free exchanges for a different size or style
*Store credit, which is issued immediately upon return initiation

Refunds

Refunds are only issued for:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Refunds to the original payment method incur a $15 return shipping fee for domestic orders.
  • International returns require the customer to pay for return shipping.

Exchanges & Store Credit (Preferred Option)

  • Free return shipping for exchanges or store credit.
  • Exchanges are processed immediately upon return initiation—no need to wait for the original item to arrive.

Final Sale & Made-to-Order Items

  • Final sale and discounted items are not eligible for return or refund.
  • Made-to-order or limited-edition products cannot be returned unless defective.

International Orders & Returns

  • International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Customs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
  • Refused shipments will be treated as a return, and associated shipping and processing fees will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Quality Guarantee & Repairs

  • Clara Barcelo products are covered against manufacturing defects under normal use.
  • Defects must be reported promptly to qualify for return, exchange, or repair.
  • Normal wear and tear is not covered under returns, but will be supported under our:

“Use and Reuse” Program (Launching Q3 2025)

  • Offers professional repairs at a flat fee to extend the life of your shoes sustainably.
  • Contact customer service- support@clarabarcelo.us to initiate repair claims or inquiries.

Customer Acknowledgment

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to our Return & Exchange Policy, including that:

  • Refunds are only available for manufacturing defects or verified sizing issues (only exchanged).
  • All other returns are processed as store credit or exchange only.
